To get the look, blow dry hair super straight. "Then pull all your hair back into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck, except for the bangs or front layers," says Antin. Fasten the ponytail, then wrap the hair around the elastic to create the bun. Secure at the base with bobby pins. For added drama, Antin advises taking the strands you left out and loosely pulling them back into the bun, wrapping them around the base. Secure with a few more bobby pins and mist on some light hairspray.
